1967 Porsche 911S Coupe

-Single Owner from New

-Matching Numbers Engine and Transmission

This 1967 Porsche 911S was completed at the factory on October 31, 1966 and painted Irish Green with a Black Leatherette interior. Options included "Webasto" Heater, Headrests, Tinted Glass All Around, Exterior Mirror Left, 2 Automatic Safety Belts - Black and 165/15 Dunlop Tires. It was sold new to a resident of Huntington Beach, CA who owned the car until it was sold to European Collectibles in March 2016. During his fifty year ownership, he drove this 911S 139,000 miles and looked after it pretty well. We have records dating back to the early 1970s and they reflect consistent service with the same mechanic. In 1995, the engine was completely rebuilt and in 2000 the car was painted for its very first time since 1966. The original Irish Green was changed to silver after the right front fender was damaged. The chrome was redone while the car was being painted. This is a very original car with lots of hard to find bits that can be expensive to replace if lost, such as Webasto heater, a correct early tool bag and period-correct seat belts and head rests. The body gaps are very good and the doors open and shut very well. The floors are original too and excellent for being so. The engine and transmission numbers match the COA and are pictured below. EC have just serviced the engine, fitted new Vredestein Tires and performed a safety check. All lights and gauges are working, the engine makes good power and the transmission shifts as it should. This is a safe, solid, presentable, matching numbers "S" that can be enjoyed immediately however we plan to strip the vehicle down for restoration if we have no immediate interest. Vehicle can also be built to customers specification.
